Am 16.04.2026 erscheint meine erste selbst hergestellte 7″ Vinyl. KF ist jetzt also auch  ausführende Produzentin. Eigentlich wie schon bei meiner CD „Musik Musik“, aber diesmal mit Stars: Lina Maly, Ulrike Haage, Willow Parlo. Die Single aus transparentem Vinyl, hat ein aufklappbares Cover erhalten. Das Artwork hat wieder die großartige Micky Bartl gemacht.

„Als ausführende Produzentin vereint Katharina Franck auf dieser Veröffentlichung drei Generationen von Künstlerinnen – Lina Maly, Ulrike Haage und Willow Parlo, verbunden durch Respekt, Vertrauen und die Leidenschaft, Songs neu zu hören und zu interpretieren, ohne ihre Seele zu verspielen.“

Für „Love Was Already There To Be Found” hat Ulrike Haage gemeinsam mit Lina Maly eine neue klangliche Tiefe geschaffen. Was als Einladung begann, wurde zu einem stillen musikalischen Ereignis: „Manchmal ist eine Einladung der erste Schritt zu einer langen Reise“, schreibt Ulrike Haage. „Die Probe, die Aufnahme: ein einziger Fluss. Als wäre diese Komposition immer schon so gewesen. Man nennt es Wunder. Ich nenne es Vertrauen.“

Und Lina Maly schreibt: […] so eine schöne Message verpackt in einer wundervollen Meldodie. Ulrike’s Flügelbegleitung hat meine Idee, das Lied ruhig und tiefer umzusetzen, ins Leben gerufen. Ihr Talent gepaart mit ihrer liebevollen Art, haben es mir sehr leicht gemacht, es auf meine Art neu einzusingen.“

Willow Parlo widmet sich dem Song „Love Is A Better Word (White City of Light)” und nähert sich dem Original mit einem feinen Gespür für Geschichte und Gegenwart:

„Bei der Produktion ging es mir darum, ein Gefühl aus der Vergangenheit ernst zu nehmen – zu hören, wie es durch die Zeit hindurch relevant bleibt und heute noch eine eigene Gegenwart hat“, sagt Willow Parlo.

Die 7″ Vinyl-Single erscheint als limitierte Edition. Sie ist ausschließlich bei Konzerten und im KF-Shop erhältlich.
Die digitale Release ist für Anfang Juni geplant.

On April 16, 2026, my first independently produced 7″ vinyl single will be released.
So now KF is also an executive producer — much like on my album Musik Musik, except this time with Stars: Lina Maly, Ulrike Haage, Willow Parlo. The single, released on transparent vinyl, features a gatefold cover. The artwork was once again created by the wonderful Micky Bartl.

Love Was – Side:

For “Love Was Already There To Be Found”, Ulrike Haage and Lina Maly have created a new sense of sonic depth. What began as an invitation turned into a quiet musical event:

“Sometimes an invitation is the first step on a long journey,” writes Ulrike Haage. “The rehearsal, the recording – a single flow. As if this composition had always existed that way. People might call it a miracle. I call it trust.”

Lina Maly writes: “Such a beautiful message wrapped in a wonderful melody. Ulrike’s piano accompaniment brought my idea of giving the song a calm and deeper form to life. Her talent, combined with her loving nature, made it very easy for me to record it in my own way.”

Willow Parlo dedicates herself to the song “Love Is A Better Word (White City of Light)”, approaching the original with a fine sense of both history and the present: “In producing this track, I wanted to take a feeling from the past seriously – to listen to how it remains relevant through time and still carries its own sense of the present,” says Willow Parlo.

The 7″ vinyl single will be released as a limited edition, available exclusively at concerts and through the KF shop.
The digital release is planned for early June.
